David's career has been lived in two connected worlds: the businesses he co-founded and the properties those businesses depended on. Over forty-six years, he has built, owned, and operated companies across manufacturing, services, and retail, while simultaneously leading commercial construction and property development projects at scale. The same person who negotiated payroll on a Friday afternoon also signed off on development budgets and site programmes on Monday morning.

That dual track is what makes the advice rare. David has delivered a $1.2 billion cancer hospital, a $50 million data centre, and shopping centres across South-East Queensland — not from a consultant's desk, but as an owner-principal who understood that the building either underwrites the business or becomes the business itself. He has lived the moment when a founder realises the property is not the backdrop to the exit; it is half of the value.

Josie began her career inside the corporate banking corridors that finance the businesses Fisher & Fisher now helps to exit. Fifteen years of credit committees, transaction structuring and relationship banking taught her to read a balance sheet the way her clients read the floor of their own factory: instantly, instinctively, and with a clear view of what the bank will actually agree to.

Time at MLC in life insurance, and earlier years with international airlines based in Germany, sharpened a cross-border financial fluency that matters more than ever for owners with offshore family, offshore buyers or offshore retirement plans.

As a registered real estate agent and the operational principal of the firm, Josie owns the client experience — from the first private call through to the final settlement. Every client of Fisher & Fisher is her client.
